Donor Care Manager - Overland Park, KS
- Maintain long-term, meaningful relationships with existing and prospective donors.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for donor escalations, ensuring prompt and professional responses.
- Implement a stewardship program to celebrate donor contributions and milestones, ensuring timely and personalized acknowledgments.

- Work closely with other departments to align donor care efforts with broader development and organizational goals.
- Partner with administrative and operations teams to improve workflows, including automation requests, forms, integrations, and user training.
- Bachelor’s degree in management or a related field required; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in donor relations and/or customer service.
- Proven track record of cultivating and retaining donor or client relationships
- Exceptional interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and inform decision-making.
- Ability to make sound decisions under pressure.

Mercy Without Limits’ Donor Care Representative supports fundraising efforts by engaging existing donors through outbound and inbound communications. This role is responsible for providing campaign updates, answering donor questions, requesting donations, and accurately documenting interactions in the organization’s CRM. This is a seasonal, in-office position based in Overland Park, Kansas.
High-performing seasonal team members may be considered for an ongoing part-time Donor Care Officer opportunity based on business needs and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Make outbound calls to existing donors to share updates on campaigns and initiatives and request donations
- Respond to inbound calls, emails, and messages promptly and professionally
- Provide accurate information about programs and respond to donation-related questions
- Schedule callbacks and ensure appropriate follow-up steps are completed
- Work toward individual and team fundraising goals
- Accurately use CRM tools, including call logging and contact documentation.
- Processing donations over the phone and manually inputting into the system
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity of donor data in all systems and communications
- Follow approved scripts and communication guidelines to ensure consistency and donor-centered service
Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Comfortable using CRM platforms and phone/call software

Mercy Without Limits is seeking a creative and mission-driven Part-Time Copywriter to support our marketing and communications efforts.
We’re looking for someone who can take a message and turn it into impactful storytelling—copy that makes people feel connected to the mission and motivated to help. This role focuses on writing compelling, emotionally engaging content that strengthens donor connection, increases engagement, and inspires action across our digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write engaging copy for social media
- Create content for email campaigns, newsletters, and donor communications
- Support fundraising and awareness campaigns with strong storytelling
- Edit and refine existing content to match MWL’s voice and tone
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to align copy with design and campaign goals
- Maintain consistency in messaging across platforms
Qualifications:
- Strong writing and storytelling skills with attention to detail
- Ability to write with a compassionate, inspiring, and clear tone
- Experience writing for nonprofits, humanitarian work, or mission-based brands (preferred)
- Familiarity with social media trends and audience engagement
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently in a remote setting
- Comfortable receiving edits and revising content as needed
- Flexible and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities and deadlines
Preferred Skills:
- Excellent English writing skills (required)
- Arabic fluency is a strong plus — ability to occasionally translate content or write in Arabic when needed
